Attraversato l&#8217;Ombrone su una passerella in acciaio e proseguendo il cammino si attraversa su un ponticello il Fosso Torbida, fino a incontrare la centrale, costruita nel 1921 dai fratelli Ottavio e Guido Taddei, che avevano costituito la &#8220;Societa&#8217; Idroelettrica Vallombrone Piteccio&#8221;.
