L&#8217;architettura \u00e8 stata oggetto nei secoli di numerosi rimaneggiamenti, come attesta l&#8217;interno sconvolto da molte decorazioni e sovrastrutture, ed ha subito, nel corso del Novecento, un intervento di restauro che ha portato all&#8217;intonacatura del fianco sinistro e della facciata.\u00a0All&#8217;interno, a navata unica, sono visibili affreschi del pittore pistoiese Bartolomeo Valiani, raffiguranti il <i>Padre Eterno<\/i> e <i>San Giovanni Battista che battezza Ges\u00f9.<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">\u200b<\/span><\/p>\n<table style=\"border-collapse: collapse;
